Liz Gibbs

Director & Principal

Liz is the Director and Principal of Robert Goodman Accountants, having purchased the practice in July 2017.

Liz is a registered tax agent and her qualifications include a Masters in International Taxation, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Commerce.

Her expertise is in advising a range of small to medium sized clients in all facets of taxation and business development.

She is a big believer in assisting her clients to achieve better, stronger businesses and achieve their goals.

Liz aims to ensure our clients and staff are cared for to the point that they feel like family. Liz is available for appointments from Mondays to Saturdays.

In her spare time, Liz is a keen gardener and enjoys time with her family.

Robert Goodman

Retired

Robert is the founder of Robert Goodman Accountants and lives in the beautiful Samford Valley.

Robert sold his practice in July 2017 and continued on as Senior Consultant until April 2018, when he retired to spend time with his family and pursue his many hobbies.   

With the responsibility that comes with having your name on the door, Robert always made it a point to ensure every single client receives the best possible care and quality of service.

Robert has now retired and wishes to thank all his clients for their support over the years. He has been honoured to serve the community for over 25 years.  

 

SMSF Team

Our external independent highly qualified SMSF team look after our SMSF administration. Between them, Michael and Nadine have an SMSF specialisation, tax agent registration, and a swag of post graduate qualifications and memberships with professional organisations.

We streamline all aspects of SMSF administration, delivering a truly automated and highly cost effective solution. Our cloud-based SMSF accounting software enables a wide range of users (including accountants, administrators, financial advisers and auditors) to manage all their SMSF administration and reporting needs from a single system – everything from set up to lodgement.

We also have an external independent auditor to manage the audit of our funds.

Heidy Sutherland

Senior Accountant

We are extremely pleased to welcome Heidy to our team at Robert Goodman Accountants.

Heidy is a CPA and registered tax agent and has over 16 years experience specialising in Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies. Heidy is extremely personable and has strong attention to detail.

She has extensive experience with LEAP, Xero, MYOB & Reckon and is a highly valued team member.

Michelle Leong

Accountant

We are extremely pleased to welcome Michelle to our team at Robert Goodman Accountants. 

Michelle has a number of years experience in accounting practices and assists with preparation of tax returns, financial statements and business activity statements.     

She has experience with Xero, MYOB & Quickbooks and is a highly valued team member.

Stuart Van Haeringan

Accountant

We are extremely pleased to welcome Stuart to our team at Robert Goodman Accountants.

Stuart has a Bachelor of Commerce/ Bachelor of Science from University of Queensland majoring in accounting and mathematics.

He is currently studying the CAANZ Chartered Accountants program. Stuart assists with the preparation of tax returns, financial statements and business activity statements and is a highly valued team member.

Michelle Fuller

Office Administrator

We are delighted to welcome Michelle Fuller to our team as Office Administrator.

Michelle is a Dayboro local and assists with our SMSF, ASIC, business activity statements, debtors and other administration.

Jennifer Carrier-McLean

Office Manager

We are delighted to have Jennifer Carrier-McLean as our office manager.

Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge about office management and administration to our team.

Her eye for detail and organisation of the front reception and admin processes are her key responsibilities in the office.

Jennifer is on leave for several months visiting family.

Trista Gerlach
